I am in Tel Aviv, Israel

by Tejas Patel Email

After a long time I come back to my blog. The update this time is, I am in Tel Aviv, Israel visiting for work reasons. Arrived here on 14th May and will be here up to a month. Having spend a day in Israel, walking the streets here, reminds me so much about India. The weather is so beautiful as well (at least so far).

I would love to catch up with people here in Tel Aviv. Anybody wanting to catch up? Any suggestions as to what to see when? Any tips?

Very beautiful place especially since you are near the beach.

If you want to try Indian food, check out 21 shekels. It is not a great place but fun to eat Indian stuff in TA & see other israelis eating it ;)

Try falafel. Go to Akko (Acre)
See Jerusalem, Galilee, Golan heights & Mitzpe Ramon.

Tejas,

I assume you read the reply from me above.

If you wish to see some Indian crowd, Ramat Gan has the diamond exchange.

Hey Kalpesh, I did read your above comment.

Would love to see some Indian crowd. I get to see some here in lunch rooms as they have people flying from Pune.

You seem to know fair bit about places here, do you live here or used to live in Israel?

I visited TA 2 years back.
Dizengoff square has a hotel cinema- where you will find Indian folks from Amdocs, pune.

When I visited, I was the only 1 from my company & was walking on the beach. I saw these guys & we became friends. Roamed a lot with them, went to eat out.

Fun days. The PM from the client is a good friend of mine. She gave her bicycle to me & I drove every evening from Beach to Jaffa on promenade.

Oh, I miss those days :)

Sorry Vandana, I would have left by that time. I leave back for Australia next week. Good luck though. What company do you work for here?
